[edit] Speedrun article
I see you have edited the Metroid paragraph in the speedrun article. Thanks for your edits! I believe, however, that it will need more edits than this, as currently, the paragraph is not really about its speedrunning history, but about the history of the game in general. It's a little too lengthy and unspecific to be of much use in the article. Maybe you're also interested in doing more edits to it and skimming it down to what's important: its use for the speedrun community and its history of that use? I would do this myself, but I really don't know anything about Metroid speedrunning. Anyway, thanks so far! --Michiel Sikma 08:50, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
- Since I think that the Metroid section is still very abundant and large, I've started to rewrite it in the talk page of the article. All games will be in one paragraph, and I think it's probably best to keep the different techniques used for speedrunning this series in there as well. This is my personal opinion of what it should look like, but you are of course free to edit my rewrite as well, or change the section that's currently up to adhere to my criticism. Either way, I do think it should be skimmed. But we'll see how it ends up. --Michiel Sikma 21:50, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
