Nural is an alternative/punk rock band from La Crescenta, California. The band consists of 5 members: Kyle Stephen Castellani, Kyle Black, Charley Hoy, Douglas Allen and Aaron Breding. The band formed in the fall of 2000. Originally started with Ryan Davis on guitar, who left the band in 2005 due to undisclosed reasons. Douglas Allen, formally of the band Normal Like You stepped in to replace him. It did not take the band long to develop their signature sound, which is a unique blend of various influences including Silverchair, Incubus, Strung Out, A Perfect Circle, and Blindside.

In Early 2003, Nural signed with Hopeless Records in their first deal with a major record company. They then released their first major, full-length album titled The Weight Of The World. The Album was released August 9, 2005, gaining immediate attention the alternative community, and popularity through fans of the bands Blindside and Incubus (band). In the beginning of the summer of 2005, they began touring as one of the invited bands on the Warped Tour, a summer long rock tour of the United States. The single, "Tension", off The Weight Of The World album, appeared as one the songs on the Warped Tour 2-disc compilation that was released through Side One Dummy records.

Interests outside of Nural: hanging with my friends, scoping out chicks, lifting weights... what? and all types of ill crap.

Favorite show so far: the ice station show in Valencia when the riot went down and kids got maced and stuff... that sucked the kids got maced but it was a narly show!

Musical Influences: Thrice, Normal like You, Rage Against the Machine, Less than Jake, RX Bandits, The Juliana Theory, Jeremy Camp, DC, Face to Face, Incubus, Over it, The Better Half, John Mayer, Goldfinger, the Used, Dave Mathews, and kelly clarkson of course.

Interests outside of Nural: pretty much just do a bunch of nothing. go to church as often as i can.. hang out with all my friends, working out every once in a while, play video games, going to the beach. i lead an exciting life.
