[edit] Welcome!

Hello, NuclearFunk, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at Naming Conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal — and if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my New-Users' Talk Page.

Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
  • If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
  • Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
  • You might want to add yourself to the New User Log
  • If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language
Happy editing!

This is more than a bit late, so you doubtless know all the above — but welcome anyway. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 18:04, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

thanks g... NuclearFunk

Hey, I noticed we have edited several of the same pages. I was wondering if we could maybe do something more about the Bergen electronic music scene. I have never heard term Bergen Wave, but I think it is a good start page for the scene.Ellipse 10:19, 25 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edit to Drum and bass

Out of curiosity, what well-known tunes have either no drums or no bass? It's not something I've ever heard anybody say before, andd the only tune I can think of without bass is that Grooverider feturing Lifford one.illWill 11:49, 11 July 2005 (UTC)

Hi there, perhaps I shouldn't have used the term "well-known", because well... They aren't. Digital made some tunes with only hints of percussion once, and both Polar & Teebee have mase a couple of tunes where drums are absent, but it still qualifies as dnb, because it takes elements we know from the genre that has nothing to do with either drums or bass. My removal of the word "supremely" has more to do that they aren't supremely important, just important... I hope this clarifies my actions! :) Or mayeb you just wanted the name of some tunes, which in that case, I've failed...

Thanks, I did want to hear the tunes. I'd like to hear them as Digital is my favourite producer and I'd be interested in hearing anything similar. I like the way the grime producers have done tracks without percussion. By the way, I'm startiing a Wikiproject to clean up the drum and bass articles, if you're interested. I haven't started a page yet, but there's a preliminary list of tasks on my user page.illWill 17:34, 11 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Neurofunk origins and artists

There are two different points of view about the neurofunk subgenre of drum'n'bass. The first is that neurofunk was originated by the Audio Blueprint label. According to this point of view, neurofunk artists are Stakka & Skynet, Teebee, Photek, Black Sun Empire, Gridlok, etc. The second is that neurofunk was originated by Ed Rush and Optical (Virus Recordings label), and that other artists are Cause 4 Concern, Mayhem, Noisia, Phace, Matrix, etc. Please cite sources on the neurofunk talk page to support any arguments. — Anrie Nord 2006-01-31 18:07Z

[edit] Move discussion at Lost

Hey, NuclearFunk. I thought you might be interested to know that there's yet another Lost-related move discussion underway at Talk:Lost. This one is about whether Lost should be a disambiguation page (as it is currently) or a redirect to Lost (TV series), with the disambiguation content moved to Lost (disambiguation). Since you'd voted in earlier Lost-related move discussions, I thought you might be interested in this one. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 18:50, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blårock

Hi, I recently {{prod}}ed Blårock as Non-notable café, since you rewrote the article I thought I give you a notice. Eivindt@c 11:32, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Riise and Alan Smith

Do you really believe that the incident is such a career highlight that is worth mentioning? I decided to delete it because that paragraph talks mainly of the crowd response and hints at the dislike of Man Utd. It talks very little about Riise or what he did, and hence I thought it wasn't really worthy. What's your argument? aLii 16:19, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
