• Anti-nuclear organizations make the claim phase-outs were on the rise while pro-nuclear organizations claim nuclear energy was booming. IMO, this is one of the most important issues that the article has to deal with. A good place for this is the introduction. Some (few) statistics are at (World Nuclear Power Statistics 2004 - [1]). An illustrative graph could be a good idea.

• The country section needs to be expanded. Especially the following countries (along with possible references):

• The discussion section could be merged with nuclear energy and expanded, e.g. with An analysis of Bernard Cohen's figures.

• A further argument for a phase-out could be workstations. The German Minister Jürgen Trittin claims more new jobs had been created by renewable energy than could have been by nuclear energy.

• The references need to be put at the end.

• A section at the end needs to discuss future perspectives for phase-outs/nuclear energy. (e.g. [32]

• Four Corners, a Australian Broadcasting Corporation series, had a programme on contrasting debates about nuclear energy in Sweden and Australia. "Who's Afraid of Nuclear Power?".
