Hello and welcome to my user page. I have just joined Wikipedia though I have been casually investigating things here for quite some time. My purpose for joining is to contribute to the scholarly information that has helped me here so that I may in turn help future investigators. Primarily I hope to contribute to pages that relate to my specific academic areas of expertise: exercise physiology, exercise metabolism, and (more specifically) caffeine and endurance exercise performance. The wikipedia caffeine page[1] is a fantastic page, and the information on caffeine's effects on endurance performance is indeed very good, but it is quite brief compared to what is available in the scientific literature. Athletes, researchers, and lay persons wishing to use Wikipedia to search for information on caffeine's ergogenic effects might be frustrated by the lack of available information here, so I hope that any contributions I make might be at least somewhat helpful. I am unsure as to whether I should add this information to the already existing caffeine page or create a new page altogether. Perhaps if you are reading this and have been similarly perplexed you might offer me a suggestion.
I am also interested in competitive cycling, golf, photography, and cooking; if I feel I have anything to contribute to pages devoted to these topics, I will do my best :)
