NSB El 14

The NSB El 14 is a Norwegian type of electric locomotive which is now used by CargoNet for hauling freight trains. The locomotives were built between 1968 and 1973 as general purpose engines. They were phased out from passenger service when the faster and more modern El 18s were introduced. The engines were built by the Norwegian factory Thune. 31 of these locomotives were built, they were numbered 14 2164 to 14 2190 and 14 2197 to 14 2200.
