NSB BM66

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The NSB BM66 was a three-car electrical multiple unit train employed by NSB for express trains on the Sørlandsbanen railway. Four of the trains were completed by Skabo, and delivered in 1945-1946. One of the BM66 trains was involved in the Hjuksebø train disaster in 1950. The BM66 was retired from service in 1977.

The BM66 series was the electric counterpart to the diesel express trains called the NSB BM88.
