NRG Media is a media company headquarted in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It was founded on March 1, 2005, as a result of a merger of NewRadio Group and the radio assets of Waitt Media. It owns and operates 84 radio stations in seven Midwestern states, as well as Waitt Radio Networks. It is the seventh largest radio company in the United States of America.
Mary Quass is NRG Media's President/CEO. The company's value is estimated at over two hundred and fifty million dollars.
