Luscombe aircraft promotional logo
This drawing was used in marketing Luscombe aircraft, to differentiate them from their competitors. At the time the Luscombe was first sold, its competitors used wood as a large part of the primary airframe structure. The Luscombe Model 8 was the first small aircraft to be produced with an all-metal airframe.
