Novoli is a quarter in the northwest district of Florence. It saw a large expansion boom in arts and crafts in the 1950s and the 1970s in the 20th century.

The area derives from the older toponym Novoli, used in the map of the commune in 1871. Novoli was a part of the commune of Pellegroni until the suppression, in the beginning of 1965, the division became a part of the commune of Florence and which Sesto Fiorentino (part of the parish of San Cristofano) in 1928, saw the largest expansion in the commune and the city of Florence, the location of the entire annexes of the capital.

It features Vila Demidoff. It features the Mercato Ortofrutticolo (Fruits and Vegetables Market), the Mercafir, the new Polo delle Science Sociali of the University of Florence and begins the realization of a new Palazzo di Giustizia and a large urban park.
