Noventi is a venture capital firm focusing on early-stage technology investments, based in Silicon Valley. It was founded in 2002 by Giacomo Marini and was previously known as CIR Ventures (or Cypress Ventures).
The Noventi team includes:Giacomo Marini, James Horn, Masa Ishii, Pierluigi Zappacosta.
Noventi manages CIR Ventures, a venture capital fund sponsored by CIR Group, a leading Italian diversified industrial holding company, and part of the De Benedetti Group, and Noventi Fund II, a technology venture fund focused on energy and environmental applications. Fund II is anchored by Sorgenia, a company of CIR Group.
The Noventi team brings a strong combination of venture investing and operational experience. Utilizing an entrepreneurial approach to venture investing, the team favors innovation, a team approach and capital efficiency as key elements of portfolio company success. Noventi invests in companies taking advantage of key emerging technology trends. These trends include pervasive IP networks, ubiquitous wireless communication and green technology applications.
