Nova Varoš (Serbian Cyrillic: Нова Варош) is a town and municipality in Zlatibor District of Serbia. According to 1991 census, the municipality of Nova Varoš had a population of 21,812, while according to the 2002 census, number of inhabitants in the municipality was 19,982. The town of Nova Varoš itself had a population of 10,335 in 2002.

In 1991, the population of the municipality was composed of:
- Serbs and Montenegrins (89.20%)
- Muslims by nationality (8.51%)
- Others.
In 2002, the population of the municipality was composed of:
- Serbs = 18,001 (90.09%)
- Bosniaks = 1,028 (5.15%)
- Muslims by nationality = 502 (2.51%)
- Others.
Note: Most of those who in 1991 census declared themselves as Muslims by nationality, in the next census in 2002 declared themselves as Bosniaks, while the smaller number of them still declare themselves as Muslims by nationality.
