[edit] WHA Super Junior League

Here is a site that can explain alot i posted it on external links. I dont know why your trying to get rid of the site. http://www.wha.goalline.ca

You are probably right there is alot of incomplete information on the main website. I dont even think the standings are current. Maybe we should wait until they update their website before we start one on wikipedia. If you think it should be deleted go ahead and do it. John R G 04:18, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

I just found out some info http://www.spacecoasticeplex.com/junior%20hockeynew.htm it seems that half the teams that are listed in the WHA Super Junior League are in a different league. I am starting to wonder about the WHA and what they are trying to do. It probably is best you go ahead and delete the WHA Super Junior League. John R G 18:48, 6 May 2006 (UTC).

[edit] AFD and speedy deletion

Hi - good question. Pages that are recreations of previously-deleted content are candidates for speedy deletion. You can mark such a page for speedy deletion by adding a tag to it; an administrator will come along after a while and, if they agree that it should be deleted, they'll do so. There are a bunch of tags - for this case I'd suggest something like {{db|recreation of previously deleted content}}. CDC (talk) 19:24, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

So, how about a list of the MAJOR characters, next? - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 06:35, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Template:Mortal Kombat

Nice work on the template, I really like it. Just one thing I'd suggest (and that we may still do). Instead of creating a new template as you did, you should modify existing templates (in this case, Template:Mortal Kombat series). In this way the edit history is saved, and the old template can simply be renamed to whatever new name you think should be used. ("Template:Mortal Kombat universe" maybe?). Anyways, I'll go copy your changes over, and start on putting the original template back in. Just keep this in mind in the future, and keep up the good work otherwise! =) —Locke Cole 02:58, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Mortal Kombat stubs

Hi, I'm working of the Wikipedia stub-sorting project. Part of our job is to sort stubs into correct categories, though we appreciate if authors could do this. It is good to sort into categories as editors with expertise in that field can then locate them and pay attention to them. I noticed that you were creating articles relating to Mortal Kombat. If you could please categorise these stubs using the template {{platform-cvg-stub}} that would be great. Thanks! Lupinewulf 11:43, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Brutality

What have you done with the music band Brutality. Have you delteted it? I couldn´t find it --217.247.7.234 09:29, 27 January 2006 (UTC)Brutality (band)!

I wondered what happed to it also, since it disappear shortly after I renamed its page. Apparently it was deleted, and you can see the deletion at the AfD results for Brutality (band). I guess it was deleted in a mass deletion of non-notable bands. I can't say whether or not this band was notable, because I was not the one who nominated it or voted on the issue. [edit] Image Tagging Image:NoobSaibotMK.JPG

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:NoobSaibotMK.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- Longhair 06:35, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] From Shadaloo

Hey, Notorious. I've seen a lot of your work here, and I was hoping you'd join us. You'll be a very welcome addition to the project. I'm actually right now in the process of whipping up the main MK Wikiproject page.

You're right about the main MK template. That most certainly needs work. The edits he's made to Baraka and Sonya's pages, however, I feel are a slight step in the right direction; but they still pose a problem. Statistics are extremely varied within the MK cast, and we don't know what color everyone's hair is, for example. We're going to have to find a better way of displaying known character facts.

At the moment, I'm not a fan of what's been done to the Mileena page, which looks like a fansite.

It has begun! The MK Wikiproject main page is up. Still needs a lot fo work, but we can crank out our ideas on the discussion page, of course. And I agree with reverting the template - this project's just getting off the ground, so we need to establish a list of things to cover before anyone starts making serious changes. But don't worry for now - a political science paper's more important, I'd think. Shadaloo 07:05, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Liu Kang

Hey guys, for Liu Kang's page, I edited some of the false information and made it a bit longer, when his card is done, I think we should use his Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks render. I just tried to edit it, I got the box in, but I couldn't get the MK:SM render in and the image looks screwed up, could somebody fix it? Thanks. Proud Nintendo Fan 01:47, 11 February 2006 (UTC)Proud Nintendo fan

[edit] Rain

Rain shouldn't have MK: Deception listed as one of his appearances, I mean yeah he was in Konquest, but I don't think that qualifies as an "official" appearance. PNF 02:49, 12 February 2006 (UTC)Proud Nintendo fan

I thought about that too, since he really had no involvement in Deception. I used the list of appearances that was already provided when I added the box. His mentioning of an appearance in Deception is questionable, as is Blaze's appearance in Mortal Kombat II.

[edit] Jade

I uploaded Jade's box, but have problem with getting "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3" to fit, sicne I don't feel that it's necessarily for that to be shortened, could you fix it somehow? Thanks. PNF 04:53, 13 February 2006 (UTC)Proud Nintendo fan

Firstly, nominator's vote is usually not factored in during closing. Secondly, consensus is not a simple majority - it usually means a 70% or more support for a motion to pass. - Best regards, Mailer Diablo 13:55, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

An image that you uploaded, Image:SterlingStatePark.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. [edit] Groundation

I got rid of your speedy delete tag for this article. The band gets at least 440,000 google hits, from many different sources, plus they get hits on google image and even google news. Let's try to improve articles about notable subjects, not delete them. Thanks. Stanley011 18:19, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hamster Racing

Hi, this is in reference to your msg. on my talkpage. I don't think it qualifies for speedy under recreation of deleted material as the version I deleted was a mere placeholder. It may qualify for Unremarkable people.. though. Considering that the contributor is a n00b, it may be better to drop him another note informing him about WP policies and asking him to desist from removing the tags. While his behavior may call for a short block, I am loathe to do so as it typically puts off n00bs. Just had a look at the notice on your talkpage, you seem to be doing great work, keep it up. --Gurubrahma 06:28, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] F*CK YOU!

I attempted to make an article about Knox, or Robert Benfer, but this jackass is rying to delete it! Either your jealous, or you hate him. I have a right to make articles on what i want to, and EVERYONE should know about Knox. Sure, he may not be famous, but he's bigger than you'll EVER be. So please, just leave it alone.

Under "Interests: School", you wrote, "I hvae held an interest...".

I figured with all your grammar-loving userboxes, you'd be interested in a friendly typo correction. :)

Right. Anyway, I DO NOT consider marking articles for deletion as fun in any way. But, thanks a lot!

Do you delete that because isn't it vandilism?-Call of duty 06:11, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WrestleMania 23

I agree with you 100%. The article is subject to repeated vandalism and I am concerned over the potential increase of it as the event draws near. The same thing happened with last year's event. The talk page practically became the unofficial forum. The main WrestleMania article as well as other articles on upcoming events have been repeatedly vandalized by anonymous users adding fan links and "live coverage links"(see WWE Vengeance [2] and [3]). One user even had the nerve to add an "official" site for WrestleMania 24!([4]) Unfortunately, any request made to have it Semi-Protected will more than likely be denied as the article has "insufficient content" to protect as said by one admin I talked to recently about this matter. Until then, it's up to us to keep it clean. -3bulletproof16 06:22, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Randy Richardville.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Randy Richardville.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Chowbok 17:30, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] signature

As a fellow American and as a Canadian I take great offense to your use of not only the hammer and sickle but also the use of the swastika flag on your signature. I friggen hate political correctness, but I sugggest if you don't want me to attempt to indefinitley block you, you remove it. This suggests to me that you condone genocide. Cheers.
