Notte prima degli esami (English: Night Before The Exams) is a 2006 italian comedy teen film, written and directed by Fausto Brizzi. It describes the life of a group of four italian teenager during the preparation of the esame di maturità (the final exam of italian high-school). It is set in 1989, and it can be seen as an homage to the whole decade.

The inspiration for the title was a famous '80s pop song by Antonello Venditti.

Luca Molinari, a high school student, insults his literature teacher, Antonio Martinelli, during his last day of school. Unfortunately, Luca doesn't know that Martinelli will be in the exam commission during the upcoming esame di maturità. The same evening, during a birthday party, Luca falls in love with Claudia, a beautiful and charming girl. Luca doesn't know that Claudia is Martinelli's daughter.
