Notre Dame de Sion School of Kansas City was founded by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Sion in Kansas City, Missouri in 1912 as a Catholic school committed to serving students of all faiths. It is known for being the best school for girls in the Greater Kansas City area.
[edit] Campus
Sion is one school with two campuses. The co-educational elementary school (Montessori preschool through 8th grade) is located in Hyde Park in mid-town Kansas City. Its spot on the top of a hill gives it a very beautiful and majestic look. The all-girls college preparatory high school in south Kansas City is located just off I-435. Though thought of by many to be the 'uglier' campus, millions of dollars in renovations have changed this in the last several years. Notre Dame de Sion is highly regarded for its academics.
