Notostylops murinus is an extinct species of mammal.

Notostylops resembled a rabbit and fed on low-growing plants. Placing Notostylops in an ecological niche is difficult due to the fact that it is not very specialized. Its tall skull housed a rodent-like set of teeth. Notostylops was about 75 cm (2 ft 6 in) long.
