[edit] Nothing to Sneeze At
In this story, Bev gets infected with a disease called amphibialglotlbloatacitis after eating a mosquito. The disease turns her into a disgusting green blob and goes to be operated on. When the operation was done, Dr. Hutchison gave Bev a nose put on by accident. Bev takes the nose after she likes what she smells and she goes throughout O-Town a la That Girl. She then goes to Ed's office at Conglom-O to surprise him. Ed loves what he sees in his wife and just as they were about to have a romantic rendezvous, Bev is turned off by Ed's stench. Ed waits for Bev for 9 hours while Bev is back home trying to deodorize the house. Ed returns home still in a romantic mood until he finds out Bev's true motives. He is crushed and Bev as well. Bev then goes outside lamenting over her new nose and how it's driving her and Ed apart. She stops in at Nose Crisis, a self-help group for people with nose problems of which Filburt is a part of. Bev tells them her problems and as the meeting ended, the founder of Nose Crisis sneezes on Bev after she declined to go out with him. The sneeze stuffs Bev up with amphibialglotlbloatacitis, which she is pleased. She is taken in for surgery that same night and she's back noseless much to her and Ed's delight. Ed then begins to romantically entice Bev with a series of wacky noses.
[edit] Old Fogey Froggy
In this story, Ed is having an middle-age crisis after being passed up for a luxurious job promotion at Conglom-O because he was told that he was too old and tries to recapture his youth by hanging out with Heffer, Rocko, and Filburt. However, Ed tries too hard and gets on the guys nerves. Ed begins to annoy Rocko at bedtime and Rocko scolds at him for acting too immature. Ed is back home in a half-dead state and Bev has seen far enough. She calls Rocko and his friends over to get him out of his depression by having a faux funeral for him. Just as he is about to be buried underneath a pile of garbage, Ed springs out of his garbage can "coffin" and is revived and returns to work with new vigor. The same hot tub promotion comes up and again Ed is passed up; this time for acting too juvenile.
