Nothing from Nothing (1995) |
A Song for XX (1999) |
Nothing from Nothing was the first album recorded by Ayumi Hamasaki. It had practically no commercial success mainly because there was virtually no promotion for the album. After failing to chart in the charts, her talent agency and record label, Nippon Columbia, dropped her. The most striking feature to the listener is that Ayumi Hamasaki raps. The album is now out of print and due to her subsequent success is considered a collector's item. One copy was sold on eBay for $450 USD.[citation needed] Its original price was of ¥1500 Japanese Yen (about $15 USD)
