"Nothing Comes Easy" is the ninth single by 1960s British girl singer Sandie Shaw. Described by Shaw herself as "a fantastic song," it describes the events of a young woman chasing after a male suitor and later regretting her decision, only to find that he now won't leave her alone. Lyricist Tim Rice has said that this is his favourite Sandie Shaw song, and its title was used for her 2004 4CD box set. Originally released in 1966, the single peaked at Number 14, which made it her seventh Top 20 at the time.
