Notebook (software)

Notebook is software for running a client-side personal wiki. It is a desktop application, runs on GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, Windows and any other platform with Tcl/Tk support.
Notebook is a software which can be used as a personal information notebook, calling it as an iBook. It can be used to record any event like tours, memorable events, any new information acquired and stored for later use. It is like a personal dictionary.
Text formatting is done in a markup language similar to Mediawiki (Wikipedia), and the software has the capability of exporting notebook contents to a variety of formats, including mediawiki's markup, html, et cetera.
