Not All Who Wander Are Lost is the third solo album by American virtuoso mandolinist Chris Thile.
The record builds on his previous work in that it is largely bluegrass and newgrass inspired. The album's core band consists of:
- Chris Thile - mandolin
- Bryan Sutton - acoustic guitar
- Bela Fleck - 5-string banjo
- Stuart Duncan - fiddle
- Byron House - acoustic bass
- Jerry Douglas - dobro
Edgar Meyer, Sara Watkins, Sean Watkins, and Jeff Coffin also make guest appearances.

The album's title is taken from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Fellowship of the Ring. The full quote is "All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renewed shall be the blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king."
