I've placed a disputed neutrality tag above the sentence (and the citation needed tag after the subject in question) where it says excellent teachers left and the school suffered . Some statistics or a report is needed to confirm this, removing the POV feel it currently has. - CobaltBlueTony 16:27, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well that's common knowledge - anyone in the town could have told you that. - Whoops; a bit' late to the party here. I put that sentence in when i first wrote the article and didn't think twice about sources and POV. Indeed, it seems to be fairly common knowledge to Northamptonians... but I can't verify it. Unless there are some old local papers around. -- jeffthejiff 20:59, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Whilst the school does place the phrase 'a tradition of excellence since 1541' at the bottom of their letters, I think 'To create a passion for learning' is the official school motto; the latter not only sounds more like one, but is placed quite prominently around the school. 86.130.38.109 10:40, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Actually looking at the new - and quite awful - version of the website, it seems that 'Respecting the past' is now being bandied about as a motto here. 86.130.38.109 10:45, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
