The Lacoste reference seems a gratuitous slur on Alonso. It is the first time I heard these allegations, and I have followed Alonso for almost thirty years.

Alonso was great, surely better than Valencia and even Villa, but Lacoste's "apriete" is a well known issue... look in the Internet for further information. For example here, or read "El DT del Proceso". elpincha 03:07, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
