[edit] Other Features

This is quite a hilly park and therefore sadly not used to its full potential by many but there are some hidden delights.

It contains an excellent new playground complex for all ages up to teenage - including a small mini football pitch. There is a one o clock club for young children and carers and an impressive paddling pool (although sadly currently not in use for much of the year) - however, there is an excellent one reasonably close by on Streatham Common

Picnic areas

Floodlit astroturf football pitch / tennis courts

Spectacular views over London spanning from Hammersmith in the West to the Millennium Dome in the East

[edit] Trees

There are many trees in the park including Oak, Horse Chestnut and Sycamore species. It's especially good for the varied species of mushrooms growing around the wooded areas in the Autumn
