Norwegian Sign Language is the preferred sign language amongst deaf Norwegians. NSL is an important language in Norway, there are a lot of Sign Language-organizations and some TV-programs in NSL. The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation airs Nyheter på tegnspråk (News in sign language) daily and Tid for tegn (Time for signs) weekly.
