Northwood Hills tube station is a station on the Metropolitan Line, in Zone 6. It is served by Watford trains and 'slow' Amersham and Chesham trains ('fast' trains do not stop at stations between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Moor Park).
It opened on 13 November 1933. There was a competition for the name and Northwood Hills was the winning entry. The area is, in fact, lower than Northwood.
