Northwestern College of Iowa is a private, Christian, liberal arts college located in Orange City, Iowa. Denominationally, it is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America (RCA).

Northwestern was formerly known as Orange City Academy and Northwestern Classical Academy.

Northwestern is the location of Heemstra Hall.[1] Built in 1950, the dorm is the oldest on campus and houses 90 men. Its collection of offbeat and interesting residents holds the responsibility for its acclaim, rumors, and lore on the Northwestern campus.
