Western Conference

The Northwest Division is a division in the Western Conference of the NBA. The division was newly created at the start of the 04-05 season. The Nuggets, Timberwolves, and Jazz came from the now-defunct Midwest Division and the Blazers and the Sonics came from the old Pacific Division. The inaugural Northwest Division winner was the Seattle Supersonics. The defending champions are the Denver Nuggets.
