Northfield School of Arts and Technology (often referred to as "ARTech Charter School" and originally called "South-eastern Minnesota School of Arts and Technology" or "SeMSAT") is a project-based 6-12 charter school located in Northfield, MN, US.

Northfield School of Arts and Technology was originally founded in 2001 by a community group that included Danise Beal, Jim Blaha, Paul Donohoe, Winona Estes, Keith Johnson, Natalee Johnson, Leisa Irwin, Paula Manor, Lynda Meador, Anne Mikkelson, Susan Seabaugh, Griff Wigley, and Kim Zweber.

Northfield School of Arts and Technology, an independent school district, is governed by a board of seven and chaired by Kris MacPherson: [1]

The first school board meeting occurred on October 25, 2001. Manor chaired the board until the Spring of 2002. Gondeck then chaired the board until spring 2005.

The Northfield School of Arts and Technology school board has utilized a Carver Governance Model since autumn 2004.

Northfield School of Arts and Technology currently holds roughly 120 students, 20% of which are on a special education program, and 95.2% of which are caucasian. [2] [3]
