Northern Baptist Theological Seminary

Northern Baptist Theological Seminary (often shortened to Northern Seminary) is a seminary located in Lombard, Illinois, USA near Chicago. It was founded in 1913 by the Second Baptist Church of Chicago to prepare students for church leadership.
NBTS is an evangelical Christian school, affirming the authority of Scripture, and emphasizing the importance of fulfilling the mission set forth by Jesus of going forth and spreading the Gospel. It holds full accreditation from North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and The Association of Theological Schools (ATS). [1]
