Northcote Town Hall
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Northcote Town Hall is a civic building located in High Street in Northcote, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia.
It was designed by George Johnson and built in 1887 as the municipal offices and council chambers for the City of Northcote.
After the amalgamatian of the City of Northcote with the City of Preston in 1994 to form the City of Darebin, the Town Hall now functions as secondary offices for the new Darebin City Council (City of Darebin).
The town hall has been recently renovated and is currently used as a venue for meetings, functions and events.
