Northbank is currently a proposed riverside development in the Australian city of Brisbane.

Northbank (opposite Southbank will contain a pedestrian bridge, public entry building, open spaces, riverfront promenade, public swimming pool, office space, residential accommodation, hotel, retail outlets. Stage 1 of the Northbank development includes 8 towers with the highest building being 37 levels.

The proposal entails the government leasing space which extends some 40 metres into the Brisbane River. The current Multiplex proposal put forward by the Queensland Premier Peter Beattie is under a month of public scrutiny. The final decision will be announced on March 14th 2007.

To Celebrate Queensland's 150th birthday, Multiplex has planned to create the Q150 Monument. This glass structure will act like a light beacon and will easily be seen around Brisbane at night, while in the day the structure will form a new meeting place for the people of Brisbane. The final Q150 design has not been released yet.
