North Riverdale, Bronx

North Riverdale is the northernmost part of the Riverdale section of the Bronx, particularly above 254th Street. It retains a more German, Irish, working-class character than the rest of Riverdale and is home to the College of Mount Saint Vincent. It shares a border with Yonkers, New York.
Some Riverdale residents refer to "North Riverdale" as all of Riverdale above 242nd Street, the part of the neighborhood north of the last subway stop on the 1-train of the New York City subway system.
North Riverdale is also home to Sky View on The Hudson apartments.
