North High School is one of 2 public high schools in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It has a student body of about 1,700 people. North offers a wide variety of courses, including five foreign languages and a good foreign exchange student program. They also offer several Advanced Placement courses as an opportunity for students to earn college credit while in High School. Their rival is the Memorial High "Old Abes".

Sarah Krueger - an American Idol contestant who made it to Hollywood Week.
Derrick LaPoint - a Hockey player for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. He has committed to play with the University of North Dakota of the WCHA. He was selected 116th overall by the NHL's Florida Panthers in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
