North High School (Bakersfield, California)

North High School is a high school located in Bakersfield, California.
In 1952, a new high school was needed in Bakersfield, California. Bakersfield already had two high schools which were Bakersfield High School and East Bakersfield High School. On March 23, 1952 the North High campus groundbreaking began. Shortly after on September 8th 1953 the school was opened to new students for the first time ever. The offical mascot was Twink but was changed in the 2005-2006 school year to Captain Galaxy. North High has a vast student body which is rapidly growing and numerous clubs for students to join.
