North Hennepin Community College

North Hennepin Community College (NHCC) is a community college located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The college was established in 1966 under the name North Hennepin State Junior College and held its first classes in Osseo Junior High School in Osseo, Minnesota. In 1969, the college moved to its current location at 7411 85th Avenue in Brooklyn Park and in 1972 changed to its current name.
The campus is an 84 acre (340,000 m²) site consisting of nine brick buildings, a central courtyard, accessible parking lots, athletic fields, hiking trails, and a nature preserve area.
North Hennepin Community College is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and offers coursework as well as pre-professional programs for transfer to baccalaureate programs. It also aims to prepare students for immediate entry into careers.
Each year, more than 9,000 students are enrolled in credit classes, and 3,000 are enrolled in continuing education classes and customized training.
Course offerings occur at various times of the year:

- Short-term, non-credit classes - continuously throughout the year
