North Epping is a suburb in north-west Sydney, Australia, approximately 18-20km from the central business district. It is connected to the suburb Epping by the single road Norfolk Road. Population (2001): 4168.

The suburb has a primary school, Epping North Public School, and also has a small number of shops including a community bank branch of the Bendigo Bank.

North Epping is under the municipal authority of Ward C in the Hornsby Shire Council.

The suburb is a leafy suburb and is surrounded by bushland - mainly the upper section of Lane Cove National Park. There are many walking trails into the bush from North Epping. One of the well-known landmarks is Whale Rock.
