North Chadderton School is a mixed gender comprehensive school and sixth form for 11 - 18 year olds, located in Chadderton, in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, Greater Manchester, England.
It has recently been given the status as a Business and Enterprise College, and has several signs placed around the site to this effect. The school is a split-site school. Years 7 to 8 are based in the Broadway Building. Years 9 to 11 are based in the Upper School Building, located on Chadderton Hall Road. Years 12 and 13 are based in the 6th Form centre close to the Upper building.
The range of academic years correspond to ages from 11 to 18. Students follow the UK National Curriculum. Key Stage 3 examinations are taken at the end of Year 9. Key Stage 4 (GCSE) examinations are taken during Years 10 and 11. The school has a strong Sixth Form. Most students leaving the Sixth Form go on to study at Universities within the UK. Some students gain places at other Universities in the European Union. A wide range of subjects is offered, including IT, Psychology and chemistry.

North Chadderton is a split school site and both buildings have been extended recently to cater for increasing pupil numbers. Each building has a Library and Resource Centre, with multi-media facilities, as well as specialist information technology rooms and science laboratories. There is Internet access throughout the school and students and staff have access to high technology facilities, such as interactive whiteboards.
P.E. facilities in Upper School include a sports hall, gymnasium and fitness room. The school has very advanced music, technology and art facilities. Modern canteen areas provide for healthy eating.
“Spiritual, moral and cultural development is a major strength of the school. There is a strong pastoral system which is well-structured, consistent in its dealings with pupils and has a coherent approach. Consequently, pupils feel secure in the school and have trust in their teachers.”

North Chadderton has its own sixth form with the majority of pupils former students at the compulsory level (yr7-11). There are a number of subjects available at AS-Level and A-level to study at North Chadderton. These include:

A group of sixth form students also take part in the young enterprise scheme. Young Enterprise is a charity scheme in the United Kingdom involving students typically in their late teens, which allows them to start and run their own business usually for the period of one academic year.
