North Carolina Highway 128

NC 128 is a short North Carolina State Highway that does not meet nor cross any other numbered route. Its southern terminus is at the Blue Ridge Parkway near where Buncombe County,Yancey County, & McDowell County meet. Traveling north along a curvy 2-lane road, NC 128 enters Mount Mitchell State Park, where it ends at the park's parking lot. There is only one NC 128 shield known in existence on the route.
