North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance, or NAGAAA, is a non-profit, international association of gay and lesbian softball leagues.
NAGAA was founded in 1977 and currently has 56 member leagues in 35 cities in the United States and Canada. Teams representing these leagues participate in the NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series (GSWS), hosted each year in a different member city.
NAGAAA has two divisions of play – the Open Division, including both men's teams and mixed-sex teams, and the Women’s Division. Each division has four levels of play, from the competitive A rank through B and C to the purely recreational D teams.

NAGAAA is extremely thankful to very flamboyant leader, Brett Cohen, of Belmore Long Island. Brett came out of the closet when he was just eight years old and has never considered going back into it. Without Brett and his tough determination NAGAAA would not be possible.
