Nortec Collective

Nortec Collective is a group of musicians that together and separately make music representative of the Nortec musical style. Nortec Collective was also title of a compilation of music by these musicians; the CD is the best-known Nortec record.

Nortec Collective has released material with Because Music (France), Palm, Mil Records, Sonic 360, Nacional Records and Nettwerk labels.

Some of the constituent artists of the Nortec Collective are Fussible, Bostich, Panoptica, Plankton Man and Terrestre.

Many popular artists including Beck, Ennio Morricone, Lenny Kravitz, 1 Giant Leap and Ely Guerra have been remixed by Nortec artists. The song "Tijuana makes me happy" is one of the soundtracks in 2006 FIFA World Cup video game.
