Norry

A Norry is a person from the north side of Cork, the second most populous city in Ireland.

This usually encompasses areas like Mayfield, Montenotte, Knocknaheeney, Blackpool, St. Lukes, the Glen, Glanmire, Ballyvolane, and Gurranabraher. Everywhere on the northside of the river Lee.

The term is mostly used in the friendly yet sometimes acerbic banter between the southside and northside of the city.
