Norman Macleod (journalist)

Norman Macleod is a newsreader and journalist on the news programme North Tonight, shown on STV North.
Norman has been with North Tonight for more than ten years, during which time he has covered some of the biggest events to happen in Scotland. Since the relaunch of North Tonight however, Norman has been demoted from the main presenting role and now presents a short 5 minute news round up for the Aberdeen & Highlands and Islands transmission area. This demotion is believed to be due his monotone and dour presenting style.
Macleod also narrates some of STV's Gaelic programmes.
