Norman Eshley

Norman Eshley (born 30 May 1945 in Bristol, England) is an English actor best known for his roles on television.

He is possibly best known for his role in the sitcom George and Mildred as the snobbish real estate agent Jeffrey Fourmile, the foil to George. He had previously played characters in its predecessor Man About the House, most famously Robin's brother who married Chrissy, but previously a sleazy married executive who tried to seduce Chrissy.

Other TV credits include: Department S, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Warship, The Onedin Line, I, Claudius, Secret Army, The Sweeney, The Duchess of Duke Street, Return of the Saint, The Professionals, Minder, Brookside, Taggart, Cadfael, Dangerfield, One Foot in the Grave, Murder Most Horrid and The Bill. Norman also played the lead character, Steve, in the horror film Blind Terror (aka See no Evil) made in 1971, opposite Mia Farrow.

Previously married to Millicent Martin.
