Norman Brown (born December 18, 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri) is a smooth jazz guitarist & singer.
Brown often draws comparisons to another well-known guitarist, George Benson. Because the two sound almost alike, Brown is sometimes billed as the second coming of Benson. He was discovered inthe early 1990's by legendary drummer Norman Connors.

Norman Brown released debut album "Just Between Us" from Motown Records' Jazz label, Mo Jazz in 1992. Collaborators included the chorus group Boyz II Men and the singer Stevie Wonder. Brown released the album "After the Storm" in 1994, which gained critical success; he followed this with the 1996 release "Better Days Ahead" which earned him a broader audience. Brown transferred Warner Bros. Records. In 2000, he released Celebration, which was produced by Paul Brown.
In 2002, he united BWB with saxophonist Kirk Whalum and trumpeter Rick Braun, and released "Groovin'".
In 2003, he and his producer Paul Brown won Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album for "Just Chillin'". This was followed by the 2005 release "West Coast Coolin'".
Now, he signs Russ Freeman's label Peak Records.
