The Norfolk Admirals are an ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They play in Norfolk, Virginia, USA at the Norfolk Scope.

Current NHL players who have been Norfolk Admirals include Chicago Blackhawks, Rene Bourque, Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook, Dustin Byfuglien, Craig MacDonald, James Wisniewski, and Cam Barker. Players elsewhere in the league who played in Norfolk include Mark Bell (San Jose Sharks), Tyler Arnason (Colorado Avalanche), Michal Barinka (Ottawa Senators), Vern Fiddler (Nashville Predators), Travis Moen (Anaheim Ducks), Aaron Downey (St. Louis Blues), Nathan Perrott (Dallas Stars), Kyle Calder and Michael Leighton (Philadelphia Flyers). On March 19, 2007, the Chicago Blackhawks have announced they will end their affiliation with the Admirals at the end of the season. On March 29, 2007, the Tampa Bay Lightning officially announced the Admirals as their new affiliate.

The market was previously home to: Hampton Roads Admirals of the ECHL (1989-2000)
