Nordstrøm is a Danish electro-pop duo formed in 2004 by Troels Holdt and Lars Malm. Nordstrøm's first single Berlin was released on May 1, 2006. Well-received by many Danish listeners, Berlin quickly became Ugens uundgåelige (Unavoidable of the week) on DR P3. The duo's debut album Dagdrømmer (Daydreamer) is set to be released in late summer of 2006. Prior to the release of Dagdrømmer, the duo has performed at the 2006 SPOT Festival and Roskilde Festival '06.

[edit] The band
Before forming Nordstrøm, Holdt and Malm had both been playing with sundry more rock-inspired bands for around 8 years. They had, however, both begun finding the traditional bass-drums-guiter set-up of pop-rock tiresome and wanted to find their own musical style. The duo's light electro-pop is heavily influenced by 1980's bands like Pet Shop Boys, Gangway and Love Shop, and marks a significant stylistic change for both members. In February, 2006, Nordstrøm was signed to EMI Music.
