Norbert Haug

Norbert Haug (born 1952, in Germany) is the Vice President in charge of all Mercedes-Benz motorsport activity, including Formula One, Formula 3 and Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters.
Haug pursued a career in journalism and was also racing in the 24 Hours Nürburgring (2nd in 1985) before joining Mercedes in 1988.
Under his direction Mercedes have enjoyed considerable success in all categories, winning multiple races and championships. Haug was instrumental in the 1994 deal to supply engines to the McLaren Formula One team and is a regular visitor to the F1 Paddock.
