Norðri, Suðri, Austri and Vestri

In Norse mythology, Norðri, Suðri, Austri and Vestri ("Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western") were four dwarves who each supported one of the four cardinal points. Together, they upheld the heavenly dome, created from the skull of the giant Ymir.
