[edit] About Signatures
Having the UTC time zone in your signature is the correct behaviour in Wikipedia. It's done this way to avoid confusion about the order in which people made their comments. Having different users from several different time zones making comments would be terribly confusing, so that's why they're all set to the same time zone. I believe that displaying the time in your local time zone is only supposed to occur in the article history and the watchlist. Personally, I leave my time zone in personal preferences to UTC just so I don't get confused between the two, but it's up to you how you set your own preferences. Cheers, Deathphoenix ʕ 18:20, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
- No problem, I was confused the first time I saw it too. --Deathphoenix ʕ 18:35, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Greetings from Lgriot
Welcome to the world of registered wikipedians. Hope you enjoy your work here even more. Lgriot 19:50, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
- indeed, glad you like it here :) Dure 03:21, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Category:Fictional mothers
Please stop adding comic book characters to this category. There is the more specific Category:Comic book mothers which is more appropriate. Please change all of the articles you've edited to this more specific cat. CovenantD 19:47, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- I didn't know that, so you needn't be short. Of course I'll change them. Noneofyourbusiness 23:04, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Greetz
Hi. Just wanted to drop you a note, saying Hi, from one of the Charmed maintainers :)
[edit] Edriss 562
I'm not quite sure of that host's human name, either. I know that there was an original name and that Edriss 562 changed it to someone else. The guy calls her "Brother Lore," so the new name has to include "Lore" or something, but I remember "David Altman" as being part of the original name. Do you have a copy of Visser on your so we can confirm? Hbdragon88 18:12, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- No, I changed it because it looked like an obvious typo. I have every Animorph book except Visser, unfortunately. Do you have a copy? Noneofyourbusiness 18:15, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Namesake
I agree with your rewording of Psi Corps's use of "namesake", but you might note that "namesake" can legitimately be used for any matching-name relationship. Per Merriam-Webster Online:
- namesake (noun) : one that has the same name as another; especially : one who is named after another or for whom another is named
wikt:namesake concurs. Still, as the special meaning is probably most common and often implied, your phrasing is clearer. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 23:44, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Just wanted to say
I very much like what you did with the P. Russel and P. Bowen pages. It's good to see somebody else makes redirects with categories attached becasue they like the category pages to be comprehensive. ~ZytheTalk to me! 15:18, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. Noneofyourbusiness 16:15, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Megamorphs 2
Quote from the Anibase: "The note was written in to cover up her error."--Lkjhgfdsa 19:20, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- You sure that's a canonical source? Noneofyourbusiness 22:09, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- It's from the Scholastic website.--Lkjhgfdsa 21:01, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- Not from the author. The people at Scholastic publish the books, they don't create the Animorphs universe. Noneofyourbusiness 21:11, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mensa International#Pop culture and media references
Very good work ... {{cite episode}} is just how it should be done! OTOH, I'm still not comfortable with "The reason for this is not known." which seems unencyclopedic to me ... I mean, why raise an unanswerable question?
How about, "once took the Mensa test and passed it, but for unknown reasons never joined." and we delete the other sentence? —Dennette (talk • contribs) 06:07, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion of categories
I thought you might like to comment at WP:CFD#Category:Computer_and_video_game_villains as well, seeing as you opined at the other villain categories. 03:35, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Immortality
Please discuss this at WP:BSG as they are not immortal, and I'd prefer not to edit war. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 21:13, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] help us Noneofyourbusiness, you're our only hope
I noticed that you had voted to keep the category of Fictional Characters by Superpower on the march 7th CFD. Just in case you didn't yet notice, Raidant!'s decision to listify them was put up for review, and another vote started on the 14th. It seems those of us in favor of keeping the categories are losing the debate, and I was hoping you could lend your voice once more so we can keep them --Piemanmoo 20:10, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Request for edit summary
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 04:14, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
